Janna tucked her chin length blond curls behind her ears and smiled at Niles. “Indeed. Nice to meet you outside of toxic bloodrain, right?” They had been helping the downed crew members with the alcoholic solution together but there hadn’t exactly been time for pleasantries.

“If you want to finish your workout, you’re more than welcome to. Please don’t let me stop you,” Janna said, gesturing to where the Klingon had stood.

Karina shook her head and reached down to tuck the knife into her boot. “No, I’m done. COMPUTER… save program and close.” The computer beeped and once more they stood in the typical empty holo suite with its simple gridded walls. “I doubt you are here to join me.” She nodded to the woman’s clothes and smiled. “So what can I do for you, Ma’am?” She closed the space between them, till she was a couple arms length away.

Janna waved slightly dismissively. “No formalities needed. Jann will do,” she said with a soft smile. “And I was just hoping we could sit down and chat. We can even do so here and just pick a different venue. Because you’re right, I’m really not up for hand-to-hand with a Klingon.” She didn’t expect people to remember her blood clotting issues, especially since she had hurriedly revealed it in the middle of sheer chaos.

Karina smiled. “I didn’t think you’d come to spar, Ma… Jann.” She thought for a moment then went to the wall to look thru choices a moment. “Ahh…” she tapped the code for the program and a moment later, they were on Earth in Europe at an outdoor summer cafe. “There… no Klingon warriors, I promise.” She nodded to one of the seats and ordered a stim caf when the waitress came by.
