She looked at Khabal and shrugged. “Well, we had originally gone to the holodeck because I thought my garden program made a great spot for a meal, picnic-style. We could still do that. You only saw a small piece of it, after all. But I’m also open to other places if you have a preference.” Which for Faye was no small thing given she generally had very set preferences. ‘Going with the flow’ was not her general state of being.

Khabal shook his head.

“No, it’s good. We can go back, I’ll just have to keep in mind that I can’t use the step to move around the environment.” he replied gesturing Faye to lead the way.

“Yeah, you might actually need to use your legs,” Faye deadpanned as she stepped out of Sickbay and made their way back to the holosuite.

“Oh, I do use my legs.” Khabal said sounding slightly confused, “Why wouldn’t I?”

The program was still running, so she simply stepped in and breathed deeply. Yes, it was simulated conditions, but the smelled green and there was a tad more humidity. She smirked wondering what he would make of the glass house. But later, maybe.

“Okay, where would you prefer to eat? It’s just us so it’s not like it’s busy with people unless we program it to be, but we have lots of options. You can pick, but my suggestions would be either by the pond or up on The Hill.” She had her preference, but it was his choice and there was no where in this garden she didn’t like to be.

Khabal looked at the two places she suggested.

“Well the hilltop would be tactically advantageous but near the water would be more relaxing.” he commented, “I’m going to assume that this program doesn’t have random combat encounters installed in it so I’ll pick the pond.”
