Ben chuckled as the computer ran the tests “Technically speaking I could make that a medical directive” he said with a very amused expression. “Looks like your bloodwork is good, We’ll need to set up somewhere if we want to run some proper tests.”

“Better than sitting on my rear.” Liam smirked as he heard the good news. His eyes shifted to one side of his head, his thoughts considering the options. “A holodeck might be the best option. Less chance to damage anything important and has safety measures in place.”

Ben nodded “Can’t have another incident report about lacking safety precautions. I swear you almost burn down one sickbay and it never leaves you” He muttered and tapped on the bed console updating Liam’s information and checking holodeck availability “Is your old testing program still in the system?”

“The labs are better for that,” Liam shot back with a dry wit.

“I can empathize though. I have to deal with a oddly smart lizard. Every time Scales winds up in my office, I have to file a report. The data banks are getting clogged with them.” Liam sighed as he paused to consider Grey’s last statement. His fingers scratched his chin a bit before he replied.

“Yes, they should be. Unless Command removed them, which I doubt they did.”

Ben clapped his hands once “Alrighty then, we’ll get whichever’s available. What would you like to check first?” He asked

IC: Liam scratched his chin in thought as he considered. “Depending on LB’s benefits, maybe starting with things that might be useful in the field. I’ll likely be seeing more of it than I want eventually. So what about testing heat endurance? If we explore somewhere hot, I might not need an EV suit.”

He hopped onto his feet, ready to get started.

Ben ordered a console to materialise inside the empty holodeck “Do you think we should run a gradual temperature increase for you or give you actual environments with more factors than just heat?” He asked

Liam pressed his knuckle to his lip and considered the value of each method. “I lean into getting a base value first up to a set level. Then we add factors in afterwards. Gives us a base level to work with and compare.”
