Marishka watched as Faye quickly departed. She raised an eyebrow in the classic Vulcan style and simply sighed. ‘Was this going to be one of those types of relationships?’ she wondered silently.

“Well, isn’t that odd? Out of respect for Faye I’ll say no more on the subject except that I’m certain she has her reasons. It was stated but a diagram wasn’t drawn. Quick note for next time that I should probably do such. All right gentlemen thank you very much for the demonstration Mister Khabal, your skills have been duly noted and I definitely plan to make use of them in the near future. Dawson, I really need to discuss something with you when you have a minute. As for now, I need another cup of coffee.”

  • Marishka

Dawson, catching on to her suggestion, followed closely behind her. “Why don’t I get you a coffee and I can meet you in your office?” he said in a low tone close behind her.

-Dawson, Intel

Marishka nodded and turned to head the other way. Slipping into her office she walked towards her desk and found the scroll she would need to show Dawson, then Khabal, then eventually Orvos. Sighing, she decided this would all need to end soon.

Dawson arrived as he had said. Two cups of coffee were set on the table of her office. He took it upon himself to take a seat. He sipped his drink for a moment before setting it down on her desk. Leaning back, he observed her. Still as sultry as ever, but there was some sense of seriousness to it her posture. “What’s wrong?” he inquired of her.

-Dawson, Intel

“Do you remember the night we met? Well, I mean, how can you forget right? I’m having a little trouble with certain parts of that night myself. Like, the wedding. I can never quite understand or get a clear answer as to whether that was an actual wedding or just some elaborate ceremony kindly carried out by a deer sweet old warrior. That’s all going to have to end soon. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to make it real, or at least look as real as possible. I’m going to need a little help with that.”

As Marishka drained her coffee, first she couldn’t believe she had called Captain Kane sweet, never mind that he was getting old. She sat down on the couch and lazily sprawled. First, she would need a lot of help from Orvos, Khabal, and Dawson to set this whole thing to rights. Hopefully, all three of these men would be agreeable. Then, would she actually decide to stay on the Athena or not?

  • Marishka

Dawson could sense the heaviness of the choices laid out to her. Make it real? He doubted the captain would go for it, despite the obvious chemistry. Though if he were being honest, the prospect of himself marrying her was certainly a delightful thought. They made a good team, both in public and in private. He let his thoughts remain as they were for the moment before replying. “You want to get married for real, do you? I’m certain that can be arranged. And you want me to help?” he asked with an absolute grin on his face. “Marishka…are you proposing to me?” He added with flirty intonations.

-Dawson, Intel

Marishka looked at Dawson with genuine surprise. That thought hadn’t even crossed her mind. She just knew she needed to divorce all of us and make everybody believe it. Marriage, Dawson, she hadn’t even thought that far ahead.

“Oh wow, you are absolutely amazing. No I think you misunderstand me. I mean, ask me after this disaster has been dealt with. How about I get a divorce first?”

Marishka smiled.

Dawson grinned mischievously. “Are you sure that’s what you want? Orvos is quite the man. You’re going to let a stud muffin like that slip through your grasp?” he teased.

He leaned forward after a slight chuckle, a bit more serious this time. “Do you think that’s possible? Do you…feel comfortable…with it? Won’t you be putting yourself at risk?” he inquired thoughtfully, eyes mostly trained on her eyes. Though if he were honest, they had drifted for a brief moment here or there. How could he not though? She was a sight for sore eyes, and being within her office kept her pheromones in the air surrounding him. To say she had no effect on him would be the lie of a lifetime.

-Dawson, Intel

Marishka smiles, it was a slow smoldering smile and her eyes met Dawson’s. Being near him was exhilarating especially alone in her office like this. Still this was an important moment and she had to get through it before she could enjoy other pleasures.

“Yes, this must be done. It is a matter of Honor for myself, Captain Kane, or those and all other parties involved. The people I was concerned with no longer concern me. I need you to be a witness Dawson, anything that happens afterwards we can negotiate at our leisure. Will you stand with me?”

  • Marishka

Dawson grinned at her slow smoldering smile. He knew and quite enjoyed that look. He had originally shown up to assist intel and seek out Orvos for reconciliation. But Marishka made the venture all the more worth it for him.

He stood up from his chair and moved to the couch to lean over her, his eyes gazing into hers with a sense of sincerity behind them. “Always…”

He then promptly lifted her feet up and took a seat on the couch with her, his familiarity and ease with her quite apparent. He then brought her legs back down over his lap and began to massage the soles of her feet. “So…what’s the plan then? Where is this taking place? And when?”

-Dawson, Intel

Marishka smiled and laughed softly. She allowed Dawson’s movements to flow with hers and enjoyed the feeling of his fingers on the soles of her feet.

“That feels lovely. In a few minutes, I must contact our good Captain, my dear dear husband, and relay what I have just told you. I must give him the chance to choose somebody to stand with him as well. Then we will decide on the place for this divorce to take place, the ceremony if you will. But I don’t have to contact him right now.”

  • Marishka

Dawson grinned at her final comment. “Well that’s good to hear at least,” he said, giving the sole of her foot an extra sensual rub as he kept his eyes on her. “We could have this take place in the holodeck, I’m sure. How will this…ceremony…take place?” he inquired curiously, his expert hands ensuring she ought to relax.

-Dawson, Intel

Marishka side and what have melted into Dawson’s touch if such a thing were possible. Unfortunately, she had to keep a bit of her wits about her. Such a thing was easier said than done at this particular moment.

“There will be an officiant to guide the ceremony, basically to tell us what must be done, a little blood must be shed, it is a Klingon divorce after all and the ceremony must be shown to Captain Kane. That’s about all. I don’t think Orvos will refuse but we must make a good showing of it.”

Mariska turned her upper body slightly and attempted to pour them cups of coffee. Smiling she turned back and attempted to hand him one.

“After that, where I go and what I do are even more up to me than they were before.”
