IC: Konral shuffled a bit, he felt Ghubari stiring. It wasn’t the normal time he was sure, but she didn’t seem in duress either. Shifting sides he rolled over to hers, wrapping his arms around her he pulled her in tightly. Pleasant dreams? he asked softly to her, letting his head rest on her shoulder as he let his body melt into hers.

Ghubari nestled into, letting his warmth and strong arms comfort her. In a way. Strange though. Just very… random. Antin appeared and we shared a drink, like we would have before. I don’t know what he and Lyra are up to right now, but remembering him makes me smile most of the time, so I guess in that way it was a pleasant dream.

I had been thinking of him and Lyra for awhile, I do wonder how they are though sometimes. It’s weird to have someone swoop in your life, leave such an impact then learn to go on without them. Still, they are always here in a way. he said as he pulled her closer before giving her a soft kiss on her neck.

Yes, they are. I guess I just realized how much I miss them some days. She let him kiss her and for a moment simply savoured the warmth of her husband’s lips on her skin. But the dream had woken her up so fully that she was unlikely to be able to sleep again right away. Still, it was cozy in his arms so she didn’t feel it necessary to get up.

So… are we going to talk about that last mission? Yes, it was time to venture there. They really hadn’t had a chance to discuss anything as it had been insanity for both of them with their sudden return to base. Now was as good a time as any.
