Orvos stood staring at the viewscreen intently, his thoughts bringing to mind that which he felt he shouldn’t explore. Yet if there was something to be had in it, if there was something that could clue them in more on what was going on. He was the captain of the Athena, and whether starfleet liked it or not, he had a group of people…a family…to protect and ensure they got home safely.

His gaze then turned behind him to his Chief Intelligence Officer as he eyed her curiously. After a moment, he said, “Commander, can I see you in my ready room please?” Without another word, Orvos moved. “Lt. Meadows, you have the bridge until we get back.”

Meadows looked nervous, but exuded a confident “Aye, captain.”

Faye just gave Legen a nod and followed him into the ready room.

After Faye and Orvos had their private meeting away from other prying ears, the duo rejoined the bridge. Orvos already had an inkling that something more had been going on while they were away. He could sense it.

“I assume communications are still open?” he said to the helmsman.

“Aye, sir,” replied Matthias as he looked to confirm.

Orvos took the center seat once more, his eyes more set as he pushed himself past the uneasy temporal feelings wreaking havoc on his senses. He was determined to set things right once and for all.

Faye slipped back into the seat next to Orvos and listened to the chatter as it unfolded. She was emotionally contained once again and eager to hear some sort fo good news.

Orvos raised an eyebrow and glanced over at Faye briefly. =/\=The counselor of the Shai is here on the Athena?=/\= almost as if he needed to make sure he heard correctly as other reports streamed in.
