Janna smiled and then nodded again. “Yes, Ensign. Have a good day.”

“You too.” George said, getting up from his chair. “Oh, what do you want me to do with this?” He said, holding up his empty cup.

Ensign George Haroon (Science)

Janna gazed at him with a neutral expression. Well, that’s a first. “Whatever works for you. You can leave it, as I’ll be heading back to the replicator myself soon enough, or you can recycle it yourself,” she said, gesturing to the replicator behind her a bit. “I’m flexible.”

“I’ll recycle it.” He said, moving to the replicator, placing the cup in, and pressing the button for recycle. “Alright, I’m off. It was good talking to you!” He said with a smile.

Ensign George Haroon (Science)

“And you as well. Take care, Ensign,” Kingston replied. It was a curious little exchange and it would be interesting to see how he handled his homework when he came back next week.
