The following announcement went out over shipwide comms.

There will be a welcome party for our prestigious traveler, Mister Khabal, beginning at 1800 in the Parthenon. Come as you are and be Star Fleet proud.=^=

The Parthenon always had people in it but there were more there when Khabal arrived. AS with many of the races he’d encountered through this galaxy, they always found things to celebrate but this, this was for him and he wasn’t sure how to think about it.

Spotting Marishka, he made his way to her.

“I hope I’m not late. Looks like things are already going.”

marsihka turned and smiled at Khabal.

“I don’t think you can be late to your own party, there are probably many exceptions to that rule but you are doing just fine. I wanted to give everybody a chance to get to know you and you a chance to meet as many people as you like without having to explore the whole ship even though you’ll probably end up doing that anyway.”

“I haven’t done much exploring. It wouldn’t do to wander into an area I don’t have authorization to be in.” Khabal replied.
