So far we’ve gotten everything out trash-wise, got the place cleaned and sprayed for vermin and such, and got all the doors repaired and security up and running. Next we are doing some repair work and then when we get the plumbing sorted, we’ll start staffing. =/\=

Hord was as big and nasty-looking a Naussican as they came. He was also a pretty solid poet, but few knew that. Jessica was a Star Fleet Marine for over twenty years, and had the cyberware and attitude to prove it. =/\= At least you are in good hands. =/\= and Paul laughed. =/\= Or in Jess’s case… hand. =/\= and they both laughed.

And though you might not wanna hear it… Kodell is a decent enough type. You know… for an Orion. =/\= and he grinned. Daggum shook his head and said =/\= Talk to you later, Paul. =/\= and the older man laughed and waved and the screen went blank.

Daggum leaned back in his chair and took a deep breath.

Hammor

Tess suddenly appeared and jumped up and settled in his lap.

A few minutes later, the door opened and Faye stepped in. She took in the mood of the room and her husband as she set a couple padds on the dining table and unzipped her jacket. Moving over to where Daggum sat, she stood behind him and slipped her arms over him planting a kiss on his cheek. “You look a quadrant away. Everything okay?”

“Just talked to Paul. The Arena is progressing. And it seems like our ‘partner’ is actually keeping his word. Paul says he’s even being proactive and helping with more than just financing.” He picked up Tess and set her on the ground and turned and looked at Faye. “I’m just nervous. Orion hasn’t had anything like this before. I don’t know how they will react. And I don’t want this getting turned into yet another criminal enterprise.”
