Reaching out, Janna picked up the case and inwardly sighed. She should have known, but also it made sense. Of course he’s want some passive testing and doing so as she went about her day would be the easiest way to gather data. “Okay, I can do that.” Janna slipped off the biobed and looked between the two men before chuckling. “Ahhhh, who would have thought being abducted and being in harm’s way would result in something more than a good story? Thank you Ben. When do you want to me to return?”

“I think if nothing odd comes up not for at least week maybe two. It’ll depend on the results of your daily scan reports.” Benjamin answered with a pensive frown. This was probably going to make for an interesting case going forward.

Orvos raised an eyebrow. “Let’s just try not to do it again, eh?” he said before turning his attention to the doctor.

“Is there anything you require of me?” he asked, curious if the man was out to study him as well given his past experiences in the Nexus.

Benjamin gave a start as if he’d forgotten the Commander’s presence “Ah right, hmm” He put hands on hips and eyed the man “I’m not certain it’d be of much use, I’ll have to research the Nexus first and any physiological changes it can have on El-Aurian. If the counselor doesn’t mind I’d like you to join us when I have her come next time as well.”

“I have no objections,” Kingston said.

There was a part of Orvos that inwardly groaned at the idea of being physiologically studied, let alone people of his race. Somehow fortunately for the good doctor, Orvos was not the only El-Aurian aboard.

Orvos looked to Janna with curiosity. “I’ll do whatever I must,” he offered to her.

The temptation to smirk was strong, but Janna managed to contain her response.

He then turned to Dr. Grey. “There is some records available for what you seek, but if you must study myself to glean anything else, then I shall be a…mostly…willing participant.” He gave the man a smirk.

Benjamin returned the smile and inclined his head in thanks.

Janna slipped off the biobed, monitor in hand. “Well then, I think that settles it. We’ll return in a week unless something drastic has you call us in early.” For a moment she studied Ben and then exhaled. “I’ve spent a lot of time in Sickbay early on after my haemophilia developed. I don’t like being here and I don’t like being… studied. But I promise I won’t go out of my way to make this harder for us. I agree it is all necessary, and will be important and useful going forward. Just… be patient with me if some days I lack my own patience with the process.”

Benjamin shrugged “I in turn will do my best not to be overly aggressive in my studies. Now you two go on, I have to go over these readings a few more times and then I have to make some subspace calls” He scratched his head “I once served with an El Adrian counselor, I think I should be able to get her transcripts without much issue” He said to himself mostly.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Janna nodded. “Thank you, Ben. And thank you for your discretion. Until I understand this better, I’m not keen on it being public knowledge. On a need-to-know- basis if necessary.”

She gave him a bow of her head and headed out of Sickbay knowing Orvos would be right there with her.

And Orvos was indeed right behind her. Once the doors shut and they were on their way, he asked her, “So, how did that go?” Yes he was there, but her own expressions of it all always revealed things. She certainly had new abilities and could likely share that way given his own empathic nature. However, it was good to share things aloud. See if it still matched his inner sensing of things.
