Brooklyn Halsey stood at the counselor’s door with a box under her arm. While most Quartermasters sent a comm, Brooklyn tended to postman it. The term was an ancient one. Since the invention of transporters and electronic messages, there was no real need for the door-to-door service in the past; however, it was something she loved to do as part of her job. It was always a good way to get to know the crew. Given time she would be able to shake a box and have a better than average guess about what was inside. Since this was her first delivery and first time meeting the counselor, it would work as an ice breaker since the box had come in and Brooklyn needed to come here anyway.

Reaching out she palmed the controls on the door and waited.
