He disappeared quickly, clearly uncomfortable with the attention, or the situation, or both. And Janna made her way through the ship not long after him, as if his emotional state were a constant beacon. Still learning about their reinforced connection, Janna gave in and let it guide her as she came to his door. She didn’t have to ring the chime, certain he knew she was there. But there was always the chance he’d ignore her. Unsure what would be the case, she reached out and pressed the chime anyway.

Orvos had brought the bottle with him to continue drinking in his quarters…damn the consequences. He also could feel the presence of a very curious woman, whom he was coming to know all too well, at his door.

She knew, of course. And she was probably the only one able to actually corner him. He could run, as he always did. How futile now?

“Come on in,” he sighed.

He was sitting on his couch, the open bottle on the table for anyone to see. The jacket of his dress uniform had been hewn atop a chair in his new quarters. Dar slacks and a grey undershirt were visible now.

“How can I help you?” He said with a slightly sloppy grin.
