Stark was about to turn to Marishka to ask her to open the ship much as she and Iw’bah had the tunnel but then a door in the side of the ship slid open and beckoned them inside.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Marishka paused for a second.

“Ooo. Pretty.”

Somehow it sounded much more forceful than she had thought it would. Shaking her head, she moved on and entered the ship.

“Alright, what’s next?”

  • Marishka

Orvos slipped by Marishka. “Perhaps find out where this thing has been and what it’s capable of?” he said aloud as he moved further inside to get a look around.

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

Stark followed along behind and took in the design shaking his head in wonderment. There was a sound from outside announcing the rest of their crew whom S’Raal had gone to fetch.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Michail burst in and immediately sat down at a console directly inside the door. “Unbelievable!” He quickly powered up the lights and turned to the others. “This is my ship. I always wondered what happened to it when I defected to your universe”.

Michail DTI

“So what is it doing here then?” Marishka asked.

  • Marishka

Marishka had spoken the very same question that had popped into Orvos’s mind, so he moved to a nearby console to get the run down of the ship and what it was capable of.

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

Emrys hobbled in followed by the others just in time to hear the question. “Aaaah, weel ye see, after’n young whippersnapper here made his way out of the mirror verse, me figured I’d slum it awhile and fly yon ship around a bit. taste a bit of how thee othur half lives. Then one morning I woke up after a wee bit a carousing… and it were gone. I doo slightly recall thinking that perhaps my companion that night was a wee bit tooo friendly ifin ye take my drift”.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Michail looked slightly panicked and ran outside muttering dark words about what would happen if he found a scratch anywhere.

Michail (DTI)

Stark chuckled at Michail’s retreating form, “This ship is one in a million. Michail was pretty heartbroken to have to leave it behind.”

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Orvos almost scoffed. “One in a million, eh?” Was that a hint of jealousy?

Marishka glanced around and took a seat.

“Yes, I think I would suffer such distress if I were him also.”

She gave Emrys a look somewhere between fascination and disgust and wondered what was to come.

  • Marishka

Orvos spoke up. “Don’t mind me, do as you see fit. I’m just going to poke around a bit, make sure things are…working properly…yes working properly!” He gave a grin before looking back at the schematics of the ship.

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

The ship’s computers willingly spilled out information on its capabilities. Probably foremost amongst it’s qualification was that it was actually three ships working together and could be piloted as a whole or in it’s three separate parts with three pilots. Each alone was roughly the equivalent power and manoeuvrability of a runabout. Together they packed quite a punch.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Stark turned to Emrys. “Are you playing games again? Seems awfully convenient that this ship just happens to be here?”

Emrys gave a slightly mocking bow and declined to comment.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Michail had finished his inspection and started to boot up systems with a practiced hand. “Hmmm, also convenient, there are coordinates already logged into the system. We know where Adonis next stop was going to be… the El Aurian home world”

Michail (DTI)

Orvos froze after hearing Michail’s information. He hadn’t been back there in centuries. And his holodeck program only scratched the surface of what the planet had once been like. But this was a different universe. Perhaps there was more to his homeworld here than in his own universe?

Marishka couldn’t help but snort in laughter.

“Of course they are!”

Self consciously she glanced around for Orvos. Truly she meant no disrespect but this was just hilarious in a sickening way.

  • Marishka

Emrys chuckled, “She gets it”.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Orvos put on a smile, clearly hiding any caution or apprehension at returning to the site of where his life had taken a completely different turn. “Well now, what are we waiting for? Let’s go!”

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

Michail slipped into the main pilot seat and started a pre flight check. “I’m expecting trouble, two of you get familiar with the controls of the other ships within this one just in case we have to split under fire”.

Michail DTI

Orvos looked about at the people present.

Marishka stood up and glanced around.

“I’ll take one. I hope it doesn’t come to that though.”

-Marishka

Splitting up didn’t sound like a good option. He cared about Marishka’s well being. There were times the pair got on each other’s nerves, and he was fully aware at how her pheremones effected him…physically and perhaps a bit too much mentally. It was like falling under a spell he could hardly fight. He shook his head of those thoughts, as he brought himself back to the present.

He stood up as well. “I’ll take the other I suppose.” Without further delay, he made his way to the third section of the ship.

-Lt. Commander Orvos Legen, CE

The controls of the sub-ships were relatively generic as the splitting of the vessel was handled from Michail’s station. There were smaller screens below the main screen so that the other ships could be monitored.

Michail’s voice came over the conn, =/\= If nothing gets in our way we’ll try a trial separation once we’re out of orbit=/\=

There was a vibration as the retractable roof clanked back into it’s recess and then the main drive was engaged blasting them swiftly into space. The others remained in the main ship with Michail.

=/\= Separation in 3,2,1 =/\=

The triangle wedge of the main ship continued to drift forward as the two smaller triangles detached from it’s side wings. All three ships flying in formation.

=/\= Take them for a spin and get used to them =/\= Michail said rolling the bigger ship into a dive.

Michail DTI
OOC Essentially you’re flying a runabout with higher manouverability due to it’s shape and propulsion but also slightly less protection for the same reason.

Marishka hadn’t realized, until now, that she really didn’t like being separated from Orvos and Stark. When the hell did that happen? It was a terrible character flaw or a sign of great love and loyalty. Perhaps there would be time to examine it later.

Taking the controls she tried to follow the main ship into it’s dive. It probably wouldn’t be as graceful as Michail’s but, she had gotten herself out of many tight spots and was confident she could do so again.

  • Marishka

Orvos performed several maneuvers, twisting and turning as he went. “Geronimo!” he yelled within the confines of his own cockpit as he performed one more.

After running a few manoeuvres Michail instructed the ship to reconnect which was accomplished by a sophisticated autopilot. Gathering in the main cockpit Stark looked out at the stars. “I’ve got no idea what The El Aurian planet is like here in the Mirrorverse. It might help Orvos if you could tell us something of it from our own Universe.”

Stark Nighstalker CIO

Orvos spoke over the comms this time. =/\=It depends on the time really. Right now, my homeworld is in ruins. The borg outright destroyed it, leaving large chunks of debris to float in that system. Before that though? Perfect climate for any traveler. Very similar to Earth. Different kinds of organisms, but nothing to outrageous. We have always been one of the more technologically advanced people in the galaxy by my count.=/\=
