“Oh, I imagine we will be seeing a lot of each other over the next few months. Might want to ask somebody if you can get a bigger couch. And brush up on those marriage counseling terms… we’ll probably need ‘em.” and he laughed, a more relaxed laugh than he had done before.

Hammor, Ops

Janna laughed too, not just a mirroring laugh, but a genuine one. “Maybe I should request a larger office too. Room for pacing,” she said, her green eyes alit.

“What would you do if you had a day off work right now?” she asked.

Without missing a beat, Hammor said “Sleep for ten hours and then wake up and read comic books until I fell asleep again. I might eat something. Other than that… I would literally do nothing. But that would only be if I didn’t have wedding stuff to do… which of course there is always wedding stuff to do. I hope Faye doesn’t mind, but I think the first two days of our honeymoon we are going to sleep through.” and he chuckled.

Daggum

“Well, I can’t speak for her, but if given all she’s bene dealing with, plus you both planning a wedding while maintaining a long distance relationship, I suspect that the idea might appeal to her too. So ask her. You never know,” Janna said with a wink.

She flicked her hands at him, gesturing to the door. “Now, you have to go finish work and hand things over so you can have your day off. So scoot. Off with you.” She grinned. “And call me if you need an ear. I’m always available.”
