As they continued their hike, Viyara had remained silent. At first brooding and furious, but as time passed she not only calmed down again, but started to think about everything she and Janna had talked about. About every question Janna had asked. Including that dreaded one at the end that made her snap at the Counsellor. It still made her feel uncomfortable and she still didn’t know why. Though as they neared the cottage she found to her surprise that she conceded that, yes, maybe there was something he knew about her that she didn’t. And that maybe, just maybe there was the possibilities it wasn’t something bad. She still found that hard, almost impossible to believe. And yet a small voice inside her whispered that he wouldn’t spend time with her if she truly was such a horrible person as she thought she was.
