OK people, here is what I’d like so that I can make this memorable :-)

Group up and form a fantasy idea with up to 6 crew involved. You could discuss this in a side sim thread or organise it OOC by email. Once done you’ll be met by a special host for your fantasy.

Anyone not wanting to join in those can beam down in a group to the EDOC Anchor Point Hotel. There will be tour guides available to get you to anywhere else on the map where you may or might not trigger adventures keyed to those places. Staying put in the hotel is also an option. It’s set up like a luxury resort.

This is part scripted and part free form so the more you share what you’re “thinking” IC I’ll marry that up with other things I’ve got in store and things will begin to flow. That also includes thinking about sitting on a beach and not wanting to be disturbed. This is R&R so I’ll endeavour to give you what you want haha.

The Captain is staying onboard the Athena with a few NPCs to maintain minimum operable crew. At least to begin with.

There will be a ship thread running for those who chose to remain aboard but rather than the medbay, engineering etc threads we’ve had in the past, with this one I want to focus more on a freeform adventure on the planet where your choice of destination and activity spring things I have waiting into action.

Take your time everyone but essentially if we have some “away teams” things will start to get moving. Captain’s prerogative to choose those :-)

I was wondering, since we have a few people AWOL and we don’t really know how to go about setting the groups up, wouldn’t it just be easier for Ian to do that? Just make a couple of groups and give us the idea of a fantasy…then we can start writing on it?
