Janna had told her to wear something comfortable, so Viyara was dressed in a pair of dark purple Yoga pants and a black, oversized sweater that had slipped off her left shoulder, leaving the strap of her teal coloured sports bra and part of her tattoo on that shoulder clearly visible. her feet were bare and for once her long her wasn’t pulled back in a messy ponytail, but hung loosely down her back. In one hand she was holding her journal and with the other she held tightly onto the small tension ball. She wasn’t sure why, but she felt rather nervous as she approached the Holosuite for her next appointment with the Counsellor. So far they had only scratched the surface when it came to her past, which made her constantly wonder when Janna would ask more about it and what exactly she would ask. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes for a moment and counted till ten before she entered the Holosuite. When she did, she was surprised to find Janna sitting on the floor of the empty room. Smiling, she walked over to her and sat down cross-legged right across from her, about a metre away. “Hello Counsellor,” she greeted her, while trying to push her nervousness all the way to the back of her mind.~Ensign Nazeen, Scientist
Janna’s golden curls were pulled off her face with a soft fabric headband, Cargo trousers on and a sleeveless top, she was sitting cross-legged gazing intently at a spot in the gridded room. She didn’t look up as the doors opened and Nazeen entered, but after a moment she turned her head and smiled warmly at the scientist. “Hello, Viyara, I’m very glad to see you,” she said sincerely. What she wanted to gradually convey to Nazeen was that Janna enjoyed her company, even if it was taking the guise of some difficult therapy work. her patient might not be willing to accept that (yet), but regardless of the topics of conversation, Janna found Viyara thoughtful and intelligent and very intriguing.
She spread her hands out to the sides. “Bet you’re wondering what we’re doing in an empty holodeck,” she said with a wink.
“Yes, I am,” Viyara admitted with nod and soft laugh, both eyebrows pulled up.
Kingston regarded Nazeen intently for a moment, though a smile still graced her lips. “You have program you lean on, whether you use them in healthy ways or not. And to be quite honest, I get tired of sitting in my office all the time, so now and again I like to shake things up.” She leaned forward and cupped her hand to the side of mouth to whisper, “And no this is not a Tricky Therapist moment.”
“Okay,” Viyara nodded again and getnly bit on the corner of lower lip, only to stop herself immediately. Instead she gave the tension ball a light squeeze.
Dropping her hand, Janna looked at ease. “If the ship were attacked right this moment and you and I were in danger, what would you do? And let’s say I’m injured in the process.”

Viyara looked surprised and even slightly confused by the question, but answered without missing a beat. “The first thing I’d do was make sure your okay and treat your injuries, at least enough that you’d be stable. Depending on the severity of your injuries I’d also call medical for help. If it isn’t anything life threatening or something that completely incapacitates you, like … say a broken wrist, I’d get both of us somewhere were we or I can be of any help to the ship and the crew.”

“Why,” Janna asked simply. A simple question with layers upon layers of possible answers.

“Really?” Viyara asked a little incredulously, but before Janna could say anything she tried to answer the question. “I may not be an exemplary officer, but I’m not an a§$%&le. And that means I’ll always do everything in my power to help. Just like I’ll never leave anyone behind or let them fend for themselves. And with only the two of us here, my first priority would be to make sure you are okay and then help the rest of the crew. If let’s say Dr. Grey or Dr. Niles were here as well, I’d let them take care of you and see what I could do to help the rest of the crew to fight off the attack.” She shrugged slightly as she fell silent again.
