As things calmed down around the ship (as much as they could), the list of things to do only grew for some. While others found themselves with less on their plates and were able to focus more carefully on the tasks and projects that they wanted to work on. Where Liam Madison fell in this was unknown to a party who in fact was quite curious as to his status. But fair warnings meant that a different approach was necessary.

So when the CSO logged into the system that day, he would find that his credentials were no longer valid. Instead a message popped up:

||Lieutenant Commander Madison,

It’s come to my attention that you are well past overdue for an evaluation. Please meet me at 1030 hours in Arboretum 3. Access to the Athena’s systems will be reactivated once you’ve been cleared for duty.

Liam’s mouth creased into a thin line. His eyes glared at the machine refusing to acknowledge his security codes and immediately locked him out, denying him the ability to finish the needed data logs. A heavy breath sighed out of his lips causing him to lounge back into his chair. It was easy to avoid the counselor meetings when the first one had been so blatantly busy. His attention skimmed the time noticing it was a few minutes from 1030.

Once more, he pried Scales from his arm then transported the reptile into a habitat. Naturally, the animal had shown resistance to being removed from its favorite perch, but Liam’s hand had been forced. He promptly left the labs to head to the Arboretum 3 location.
