It was a very different hour of day on the Athena than it was where a message was sent. There it was late evening. And much like they had before, the sender used her encryption skills and access to the network to send a ping from the Delta Quadrant to her destination.

On Hammor’s computer, a message was received: ||Call me when you are free. I’ll stay up as long as it takes. ~Faye||

Wherever Daggum was, she was prepared to wait without knowing anything of where he was at the moment or what he might be doing.

Daggum wasn’t sleeping. It had been a really hard couple of days. So when the computer beeped and he saw Faye’s name, he leapt up and ran into the living room and his desk and keyed the comms… forgetting, of course, that he wasn’t dressed.

So it was that shirtless and obviously surprised Daggum activated the comms and smiled broadly at the most welcome face he could have chosen at that moment. =/\= Hey you! How are you? =/\= and then his face turned concerned. =/\= Is everything ok, Faye? =/\=

Daggum

Faye’s pale stormy eyes drank him in almost hungrily, despite her obvious surprise. Though she didn’t say anything at first it was clear that she liked what she saw.

Faye sucked in a breath, and compared to their previous conversations, there was a calmness to Faye that hadn’t existed before. She shook her head slowly. =/\=No… and yes,=/\= she said slowly, her words unhurried. =/\=I’m a lot of things right now. It’s been a really emotionally exhausting couple of days, Dag, but at the same time, good things have happened.=/\= The anxious part of her wanted to jump right into the story but no, that would do neither of them any good. =/\=But before I share more, if you’re up for it of course, I’d like to know about you first. How are you?=/\= she said with a warm smile.
