About halfway to the ‘Fantasy Planet,’ Jenn’s anxieties about their trip took hold, and she decided it was about time she and the Admiral had a good chat about their destination. =^=Captain Wallace to the Admiral. Could I see you in my Ready Room? We have some things to discuss.”

By the time the woman arrived, Jenn was pacing her room, walking in circles around the table in the center.

The Admiral came in silently saying nothing about having been summarily “summonsed”. Her twin aides took position outside the door at stiff attention. “You seem agitated my dear?”, her eyes radiated genuine concern.

Jennifer gestured to the table. “Please, sit,” she requested. If the woman sat down, Jenn followed suit and chose a seat. “Thanks for coming. I’m just a little concerned about this trip. In my former post, even as CMO, I knew more about most potential missions than I know about this Fantasy Planet. And I don’t even know your name, Ma’am. I’m new to this ship, and I don’t want to take my new crew into an unknown situation if I have a chance to figure out more.”

After a moment, she spoke again. “My first question is this: You called this planet we’re going to ‘fantasy planet,’ and mentioned it would be a place where our dreams would come true, or something along those lines. Is that correct?”
