There was just enough space in the wall to put her fingers. She might be able to pray it open. However, if she listened hard to the breathing, she could tell that, what ever it was, it wasn’t human. It sounded animal like.

Janna backed up, her heart rate having increased more. She knew that Kivon was messing with them and had a specific purpose. And while it was tempting to think it was just a bunch of bluster, the venom with with he had addressed Orvos told her that this situation was serious… deadly serious. Would she die here in this bright prison? Her only way free seemed to be a path fraught with possible danger and she knew that with her blood disorder, she had to be extremely careful. Orvos. Stark. Where the hell are you two?

It was her duty to escape, but for the moment Janna was a bit out of ideas unless she wanted to risk whatever was on the other side of that wall.

If she listened closely, the breathing would seem to be steady, but primal. Could it be what ever was behind the crack was asleep?

Still utterly terrified, Janna felt she had little choice but to explore and escape if at all possible. Back at the wall, Kingston gauged that if a risk was needed, this would be it. With a steadying breath, she tried to see of the crack in the wall would give enough for her to peer in and perhaps even slip through.
