“Oh… I’m great. No complaints at. All.” he replied with a smile as he looked at her. “Just been a while since I’ve worked that hard.” and he laughed softly. “You do know that you are amazing, right? Like… genuinely and incredibly amazing? When we walked in here and I saw what you had in mind…” and he shook his head, “… I thought I had an idea. But you continued to surprise me.” and then he laughed out loud.

“Well, I warned you that I’m full of surprises,” Viyara grinned and kissed Daggum’s shoulder. “And I can only return that compliment, by the way. You, too, are amazing.”

“Did you see the face on that guy when the maintenance shuttle went by and we were pressed up against the glass? I honestly thought we had the one way activated.” and he laughed again.

Daggum

“Yeah, ppor bloke. But who knows, maybe he secretly enjoyed what he saw,” Viyara winked as she pushed herself into a sitting position and started to carefully, and methodically stretch her sore muscles. Looking at Daggum, she added, “What would you like to do next? And do you have any idea how much time we’ve left before we have to leave?” The general lack of a sunrise to tell the time was sometimes a definite downside of life in space. Though it also had it’s advantages at times.

Daggum sat up and looked around the room, finally spying his chronometer on the floor in a corner. He swung his legs out of bed and went to grab it. “Looks like it’s 0400. I would imagine that we need to check out by 1200… buuuut we may want to make ourselves scarce prior to that. Avoid any… ‘unnecessary questions’ and such. We could sleep for a bit, get some breakfast and then take off, if you want.” and he climbed back in the bed and moved close to her and ran a finger lightly along her shoulder. “Or we could take a shower and then order breakfast.” and he kissed the bare shoulder and smiled.

Daggum

“Oh, I’m all for avoiding questions and any trouble that might come with those questions,” Viyara laughed as she leaned against Daggum. With goosebumps rising on her skin as he touched and kissed her, she whispered, “Either sounds good to me. So you decide.” Turning her head, she cupped his cheek with her hand and then kissed him. Softly at first, but it wasn’t long before she gave his lower lip a slight, playful bite. A shower sounded great to her and at some point she should definitely have one. But despite her long nap earlier, she was starting to feel a little sleepy again. So getting some rest before they headed back to the ship certainly had it’s appeal as well. So many decisions. Hopefully Daggum would do as she had said and decide for them.

Daggum groaned slightly at the bite and said “Ok… how about a shower and then back to bed, see where that takes us, and then breakfast and we head out?” and he stood up and went to the enclosed bath area. Turning on the water, he let the steam rise and then said “Come on. And this time I’m making sure the one way is actually on.” and he chuckled.

Daggum

Laughing goodnaturedly, Viyara clambered out of bed and followed Daggum into the bath area and then stepped swiftly into the shower. “You better do,” she grinned cheekily as she rose to her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around his neck before kissing him again.

Miraculously still standing up right, Viyara was leaning against the wall of the shower and grinned. “At this rate we’re probably never going to leave this place in time,” she chuckled, despite sounding a little breathless. “Not complaining though, mind you,” she added with a wink.

Daggum smiled and pressed himself against her, pinning her between him and the wall of transparent aluminum that separated them from the empty space behind them. Kissing her slowly, he finally smiled and said “Oh, me neither.” and he kissed her again before pulling back.

“So if we stay here I am not going to be able to leave at noon.” and he chuckled. “Why don’t we retire to the bed and see how it is for sleeping. I’ll have an alarm set for 0900. Sound good?”

He turned off the water and stepped out, first drying Viyara and then himself. He then gently picked her up and carried to the bed, laying her down and then covering her naked body with the blanket before sliding in next to her. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled her back close to his chest and whispered “This was one of the best nights I have ever had. Thanks, V.” and he kissed her cheek softly.
