Koraia was just not used to being so cozy with an admiral. It was rather odd, to say the least. “I see. Not to be the bearer of bad news, but even the presence of brass might make it difficult for my crew to really be at ease. What exactly is this place, and how do you see R&R happening when we get there?”

“They call themselves “Fantasy Planet” Captain. It was set up by an independent consortium, terraformed and configured as a natural low tech environment specifically for vacations. They really want Federation business so they’re prepared for the Athena to have the complete run of the planet and their motto is “We’ll make all your fantasies come true”. Reports about the place have been off the charts with approval. Your mission Captain is to take some R&R on this planet and the only thing you need to do is give us the thumbs up or down on whether the place delivers on your wildest dreams for R&R.”

“It’s an interesting proposal to be sure,” Jennifer commented, glancing at Ghubari. She had her reservations, but she’d save them for a conversation alone with the Captain.

Koraia could feel the doubt from Wallace and, feeling very much the same, meeting her XO’s glance with a subtle frown. “Well,” she said, looking back at the Admiral. “I have a crew in desperate need of R&R that isn’t hanging about a starbase we’ve spent too much time at and they are very thorough, so I am sure we’ll fulfill the brief easily. When do we leave?”
