“Hey yourself.” he said with a smile and set the PaDD aside. “Feeling any better?” he asked.

Viyara pondered that questions for a moment and then said, “Yeah, I think so. But I certainly don’t feel as if I have slept for five hours. I still can’t believe I crashed like that.” She rubbed her hands over her face and then nodded towards the PaDD next to Daggum. “What have you been reading?”

Daggum smiled and said “What else? Sherlock Holmes.” and he looked at her. There was concern in his eyes, but he didn’t press her.

“Of course,” Viyara laughed softly and then leaned against him as if it was the most natural thing to do. “What crime is he trying to solve?”

“Food? It smells amazing.”

Viyara nodded and said, “It does indeed. And I dare say we both have probably worked up quite an appetite. I know I certainly did.” She winked and brushed the tip of one finger along his thigh. She still felt a little bit queasy, but she hoped that some food would help with that.
