Juvri smiled. “If I’m gonna be a good Security Officer I definitely need to try and learn it!” she said. She had finished her food and presently, she leaned back on her elbows. “Ballet is fun, but it’s really hard,” she commented, shaking her head. “It’s cool you kept it up. I bet you’re pretty good at it by now.”

“I’m not professional ballerina level good, but I’d like to think that I’m a pretty decent dancer,” Viyara nodded and then turned her head towards Juvri as she continued, “But enough about me. What kind of dancing do you like? And when would you like to start some martial arts lessons?” As easy going as their conversation had been so far and as much as she appreciated that Juvri wasn’t trying to pry, there was always the possibility of someone asking a question she wouldn’t be able to answer. So once again she shifted the topic away from herself to hopefully prevent that from happening.

“I did ballet for a while but I wasn’t very good at it. I learned some ballroom dancing, and that was a bit easier… Until we got past the basic stuff.” Juvri told her. “But it’s pretty awkward without a partner. Oh, you’re the one teaching me. Whenever’s best for you is fine,” Juvri answered the second question. She didn’t want to bother Viyara with it if she was busy.

“Well, I’m not yet on duty since the Athena only just returned. So I’m free whenever you like,” Viyara replied light-heartedly. Of course she should take care of her boarding evals and report for duty, but really who cared if she did so a few hours sooner or later? “Maybe first thing tomorrow morning? Some time later tomorrow or this week if that works better for you?” she suggested and finished the rest of the water in her glass. “Or even right now, if you like? I’m very flexible,” she added with wink.
