A bit loudly in order to bring her back to the present, Hammor said “And there is not a damn thing wrong with that. You do you, doll. And to the recycler with anyone who tries to tell you different.” and he smiled at her.

Viyara blinked a few times as she came back to the present. She returned his smile and reached for his hand, giving it a light squeeze, “Thank you.”

“Relationships aren’t for everyone… dunno where all these species got it in their heads that you have to have one to be happy. Some people just like their own space… and that’s perfectly fine.”

Hammor

Shaking her head softly, she replied, “I do know all that. But sometimes it’s really good to hear it from someone else. Thank you.” With her expression turning suddenly mischievously, she continued, “And hey, if it gets us free desserts, maybe the two of us can be a pretend-couple more often.” She winked and then helped herself to more Tiramisu.

Daggum grinned and said “Well, I’d definitely be game for that…” and he grinned at her, “… depending on the dessert, of course.” and he winked back at her and then laughed.

“Absolutely,” Viyara laughed.

As the tiramasu dwindled away, he looked around and then said “I don’t feel like going back to the ship… do you?”

Hammor, Ops

Shaking her head, Viyara replied, “Nah, I don’t feel like going back either. What would you like to do?” Putting her fork down, she left the rest of the Tiramisu for Daggum.

Daggum’s eyes narrowed and he grinned mischievously. “How far do you want to see our pretend-coupling can take us, hmm?”

Daggum

“Oh, I’m game for everything!” Viyara replied emphatically; one eyebrow raised while a crooked, mischievous smile lit up her whole face. “What do you have in mind?”

Hammor stood up and walked over to Mario, leaning down to whisper something to him while glancing back at Viyara and grinning. Mario’s face flushed and he laughed and then pulled Daggum down and whispered something back. Hammor nodded and then signed fo rthe tab, and walked back over to the table. “Darling, it’s time to go. We have our appointment in twenty minutes.” he said as he looked down at her and offered his hand to help her stand, ginning wickedly and chuckling softly.

Daggum

Taking Daggum’s hand letting him pull her to her feet, Viyara replied sweetly, “Of course, sweetheart. Thank you for keeping an eye on the time.” She smiled brightly while trying not to burst out into hysterical laughter. While she had no idea what he had in mind, she could tell that it was going to be a lot of fun. And after some of the more difficult things they had talked about, fun was something she most definitely needed right now.
