“You rarely have to ask me twice with most desserts, darling,” Viyara grinned. “Unless it’s very sweet, but Tiramisu is perfect. At least the few times I had it in the past.” Picking up one of the forks, she speared it into a corner of the dessert, making sure to get a bit of each layer onto it. As she popped it into her mouth, she closed her eyes and sighed. “As expected, this is absolutely perfect.”

“Thanks, I try to keep myself in shape.” Hammor said and then smiled. “Oh… you meant the dessert.” and he took a bite. Nodding, he said “I concur. Amazing.”

After helping herself to another forkful of Tiramisu, Viyara asked, “What is your all time favourite dessert? The one thing you can either always have or is your go to when you have a bad day?”

Hammor’s brow furrowed in concentration for a moment. “I really don’t know. I don’t really have a sweet tooth or anything like that. So I don’t think I have a particular favorite dessert. I just kind of prefer savory to sweet, I think. What about you? You a savory or sweet kind of woman?” and he grinned at her as he took a bite.

Viyara nodded and then said, “If I have to pick either, I’ll always go with savoury. Sweets and dessert tend to be hit and miss. For I do like a good dessert like this Tiramisu, but I can’t stand things that are very sweet.” She shuddered slightly and then took a sip of water.

For a few moments, Viyara considered Daggum silently, her elbow resting on the table and her chin propped up on the back of her hand, and then asked, “We talked about our past and future, but I’m wondering: Is there a specially someone in your life? Someone your dating? Maybe even someone you want to spend the rest of your life with?”

Hammor paused, the question caught him off guard a bit. But he swiftly recovered and said “Well, I’m not seeing anyone now, no. There is someone I care for… a lot… which is weird considering I knew her for just a few days before I had to leave. And she’s in the Delta Quadrant… so that takes long-distance dating to an absurd level.” and he chuckled. “But we talk from time to time. She was just awarded the Citation for Valor and Gallantry, actually.” he added with a hint of pride for her.

“But… between distance and such… and I honestly don’t even know how she feels… so I’m just kind of taking it as it comes and hoping. So I guess that’s the long way of saying no, I don’t have anybody right now.” and he took a bite of the dessert to give himself a chance to refocus off of one Faye Calloway. “What about you?” he asked after swallowing. “I’d imagine there are more than a few jockeying for your attentions. You have anyone I need to be watching the door for? Jealous romantic partners tend to make me nervous.” and he smiled at her broadly and winked.
