With the ship and all its crew having returned, Juvri was quick to get to her check-ins. The first on her list was to check in with her department head, the Chief of Security. This was her first non-academy posting, so she was quite nervous, so much so that her stomach was in knots and every step towards the COS’s office was like trying to move a ton of lead.

Reaching the door, she rang the door’s buzzer to let the COS know she was there, then she stood quietly outside.

“Enter” Konral said, the sound of muffled voice behind the door could be faintly heard as he looked up from his view screen waiting to see who might arrive.
