After finding his quarters and making sure his codes were active, Hammor made sure he was presentable… which for him meant everything as close to perfect as he could make it. Checking himself in the mirror, he took a breath and nodded once to himself. He turned and walked out of the room and made his way to the bridge. Stepping onto it for the first time, he allowed himself a moment to take it in.

The Athena was a big ship, and Hammor knew he had his work cut out for him. She wasn’t quite the size of the Dresden, but that ship was pretty straight forward. This one was much more versatile… and therefore much more complex.

Nodding slightly in appreciation and excitement for what lay ahead, he moved to the Ready Room door and fist-bumped the chime.
