Koraia pointed to the whiskey bottle. “As nice as a little bubbly can be nice, it doesn’t suit my mood. Neat, please.” Arm resting on the bartop, she looked around, taking i the subtle details of the interactions going on around them.

Marishka nodded and poured the glasses neat as requested leaving the bottle out and passing Ghubari the glass.

The captain reached out a dark hand and accepted the glass with a nod of her head.

“Our very own CIO himself has volunteered to be my bar back if I should need one this evening. I think I’m flattered.” Marishka said.

Ghubari chuckled. “You definitely should be. Stark is never one to volunteer for social things.” She took a generous sip of the whiskey, clearly not in a mood to hold back. It was a party after all. Or something like one. It warmed her as it slid down her throat and took a moment to appreciate the fine beverage. Then again she couldn’t imagine Marishka giving her terrible booze. Unless it was a joke.

Marishka had a feeling that Stark didn’t volunteer himself for anything easily but she had a growing respect for him and sensed that he might have the same for her.

“I will definitely keep that in mind and certainly not abuse his good graces. So, I’ve come up with a name for this lovely area and I was hoping to christen it tonight but, I don’t want to steal any of the crew’s thunder. What do you think of ‘The Parthenon’?” she asked Ghubari.

A wide grin spread into Ghubari’s face and she nodded. “I think that it very suitable, actually. Once I’m done my it, I can have you come up and announce it?” She didn’t want to put Marishka on the spot, but most people had encountered her at this point and she really wasn’t a stranger at all.
