Janna leaned over and tapped a PADD on the side table. “Half an hour. Anything you want to go over while we’re here?” She gestured with her hand to him. “Clearly you’re fit for duty, though I should warn you that this ship is… something else. Whatever you think you should expect, give up now,” she said with a smirk.

Séan smiled back at Janna. “I’m trying to ease myself into this with an open mind and no real expectations. I don’t know what to expect and I’ll roll with whatever comes down the road. I suspect I do expect some long hours in the days ahead though. Hmm… as for anything I want to go over, well I guess I want to iterate that you and the rest of the counselling staff will have my full support. I’ll likely call a staff meeting in a couple of days after I have a chance to familiarize myself with the ship and call the Ogawa. I think that about covers it.”

Kingston nodded. “Alright then. I should probably pre for my next session and I’m sure you’re going to want to settle in. I’ll have the department reports ready for you tomorrow. Have a good evening, Séan.”

Séan stood from his seat and stretched to get out the kinks in his joints. “Thank you Janna. This was a pleasant meeting and I look forward to working with you. Have a good session, a great evening, and I will check with you on the morrow.” He gave a final tired smile before leaving her office, waving at Cherry on the way past, and headed back to his quarters.
