From her perch at the bar, Ghubari spied Marishka making her way over to her and gave her a little nod. Very quietly, she slipped off her stool and moved behind the bar so they could converse privately.

Marishka knew Ghubari was aware that she intended to make her way towards her so she was in no hurry to get there. On her way, she admired the work that had been done to the lounge thus far, the way the decor and the sparkling white stonework complimented one another with pops of contrast from the vibrant green foliage.

Waving to a group of people she finally stepped behind the bar.

“Good evening Captain.” she said formally.

Koraia offered the lovely host a smile. “Good evening Marishka. Everything looks great. It’s about time we had a party. Goodness knows everyone needs it,” she said idly, her tone and body language light.

Marishka brought out a bottle of champagne and two glasses, she also brought out a bottle of whiskey and appropriate glasses.

“We’re always here for a party. Anytime, any reason, or for no reason at all. Please, pick your poison.” she said indicating the bottles.

Koraia pointed to the whiskey bottle. “As nice as a little bubbly can be nice, it doesn’t suit my mood. Neat, please.” Arm resting on the bartop, she looked around, taking i the subtle details of the interactions going on around them.
