Sorry for my slow posting. Recovering from this cold has taken longer than usual and I’ve been busy the last couple days working on the newsletter.

Newsletter you ask? If this is news to you, we have a monthly newsletter that goes out around the 5th of the month. December’s will be going out later today. If you have not yet subscribed, you have to check the box on your Player Profile. To do so, ‘Edit’ your profile and then you will see the box to subscribe. Submit and there you go!

I really hope I will see you all at some point during the Holiday RP Party. It’s going to be a lot of fun! If you’ve not yet made your way into Discord (https://discord.gg/huxNA9w)m you should! It replaced our old IRC chat and we have the ability to voice chat too! Do pop in and share some holiday cheer.

There was a debate about whether the club would relax AWOL limits this month and it was decided not to, but to allow COs to do so if they wish (though it was discouraged). For some of us this month is even busier, even if all the usual holiday gatherings are not happening. For me, my kids are off after the 18th, so I might be a little busier but still can post. I will move our party thread ahead, but here’s what I’m thinking: I still want people to declare LOAs. It just helps to know who is around to participate in threads. But, I will take a more relaxed approach to AWOLs (as I’ve done most of this year). I still am getting 20+ migraines a month, though it seems to be less intense lately. We all can only do so much. If I see large AWOLs, expect a friendly nudge, but I won’t be kicking anyone off the ship for not posting right now. We all have enough to deal with and this is supposed to be a fun place for us to let go of our RL stresses.

I’ll be chatting with Ian about the next sim and moving side sims along as I figure out what I can manage. If you have ideas, questions or comments, please let me know here or by email/DM. I’m in Discord as BusyBeaver and though I might not be in constantly, I will reply when I can as I check me messages at least once a day.
