Ghubari couldn’t help but laugh a bit at the comical sight her companion was creating. Clearly things were well beyond being out of hand and she doubted she could bring things back to anything that might approximate anything reasonable. She’d have to think things over later, but she would have to figure out what the limits were here.

Stark having known exactly what was coming was already on his feet. He sent a mental image to Nico of the servo in Pierce’s hand. “We need that my friend” he said to Nico in sign, “We’ll distract him and you get it from him”.

He turned to the others. Pierce entered from this room so we need to get onto the bridge pronto, by my reckoning this timeline’s Captain and Stark came out of the turbo lift only minutes after Pierce came onto the bridge from here.” He paused, “Then again our presence here may have already changed the timeline…”

“It’s hard to say for sure, but I agree the sooner we get out there, the better,” Ghubari remarked as she re-gripped her phaser. “I’ll be ready to shoot Pierce the moment we see him, but be prepared to create a distraction. I can also communicate with, well, myself, so I’ll be able to mitigate some of the shock.” She frowned slightly. “Hopefully.”

“Ready?” the captain asked the group as she moved towards the door, careful not to trigger it until they were all set.

Nico nodded he was ready, and sent back that he was aware of the danger it was his turn to defend all the belly rubbers, treat givers and friends she had introduced him to. Besides Crazy eyes was dumb and wouldn’t know nico was a threat till it was too late. Still he hopped off the disc and put it away to learn about later she was right this wasn’t the best time to learn his new toy. That and ground nico was far for sneaky. He was ready to do his part.

Kaylee slowly got up from where she had been crouched on the ground, attempting to get her bearings. She slowly gave her limbs a shake, and then moved over to stand next to the Captain.

“I’m ready,” She said, the determination evident in her voice.

Laraan was ready too, but her focus was fully on Ghubari right now. Her large light green eyes that had already lived through more than 200 years of life experiences were looking more into than at Ghubari… and at the phaser that she clutched in her hand, set on kill. She didn’t say anything. She knew no words in the world would change Ghubari’s mind and she was not even sure she wanted to. So she just looked into the Captain’s eyes, that were apparently so eager to kill on sight.

OOC: It’s on heavy stun, not kill. I mentioned her setting it to heavy stun in my post just before we went on Stark’s crazy ride. ~Linds

Stark couldn’t help but laugh a little as they exited the Captain’s Ready Room and boldly walked out onto the bridge. Seeing themselves whip around and stare at “themselves” was comical at best. Stark couldn’t help but blurt out “Captain’s on the deck” at the assembled crowd.

Past Stark’s eyes widened and then he muttered darkly “I hate time travel”.

Nico slipped as stealthfully as only a cat could. He could also sense himself several decks away. He knew he was not on the bridge twise, he had never been on the bridge, or in the ready room, those were no no places. The flashing lights and beeps boops whistles and other noise threatened to distract him but Nico shook it off. Using the cover of Shadow Brothers words andd everyone’s shocked expressions he positioned himself on the foot resting shelf of the console closest o where Shadow brother recalled Crazy eyes stupid hat being before he grabbed Shadow Brother and Razzed Night skin. Nico licked his chops, no one had seen him attack anyone before. His teeh and claws were designed to hunt not for show.

Kaylee hung towards the back of the group. In the past timeline she had been in the cargo bay so there was not as much shock factor in her presence here as some of the others who were facing themselves from the future. She kept her eyes and ears alert and her phaser drawn.

Ghubari stared at, well, herself and while there was definitely a look of surprise on her counterpart’s face, there was also a familiar composure. “As much as I’d like to hash things out in detail, we don’t have much time. Suffice to say, we’re here to help stop your ship from being destroyed a short time for now. And given how things go, trust me, you will want a change of events.”

Past-Ghubari’s brows lifted and she smirked. “I’d ask if I could trust you, but I know you too well. It also helps to be an empath.” She eyed the contingent and shook her head. “I’m sure I’ll have a migraine later, but please, do fill me in.”

Koraia nodded and took a deep breath. “Well, any moment now, Pierce if going to presumably show up and try to abduct Stark. I plan to stun him, but back up would be good. We basically need to stop him from using a device later, and my Chief Engineer and one of his ensigns are trying to figure out how to reverse or prevent any sabotage Pierce probably has done.”

A tall balding man carrying a bowler hat in his hand walked out from the Captain’s Ready Room. His hands were gesticulating wildly and the silver cylinder in his left hand was almost hypnotic in it’s motions. Finally he crouched a little and put on his best horror voice, hands to the heaven’s in mock supplication.

“You’re all doomed”.

“Like hell we are,” Past Ghubari remarked darkly.

It was at that point that he realised that there was a twins convention happening on the Athena’s bridge. He hesitated for a brief microsecond…

Current Ghubari fired her phaser at Pierce, hopefully sealing the deal as Past Ghubari reacted with anticipated speed and moved swiftly out of the way. Nico, now! the current version thought to her companion, hoping it wasn’t a grave mistake.

Echoed in Nico’s head from Night skin. Like a 16 kilogram coiled spring the Treecat sprang from the console just to Pierces left flank. Nico had a mission, his people’s needed him. Shadowbrother Hi, Shadowbrother low, Energy beam, only one place to go. Nico had been told to take the thingy away from Crazy eyes stupid hat. The easiest way wo disarm a being when you were equiped with needle like teeh, and six limbs of razor edged 3cm claws, was to be literal. Nico teeth went for the wrist. True hands grabbed the item. His hand paws on the mid limbs attempted to shred the forearm, and his hind quarters with its true paws and his sharpest claws attempted to debone and seperate the arm at the elbow. as in insult he knocked the hat off with his tail. also giving Shadowborther one or two access to the phaser he had belted on.
