Karina had been one of the last to arrive but the ‘it’ she heard the Captain refer to, she guessed was the hole they had created coming here. “I think we should be able to. With any luck, if we hurry, residual energy to open the hole should still be there. And without the blockage, we should be able to make it big enough for the Athena.” She glanced around at the others who had arrived on the shuttles. “The precision and last readings should also aide in that endeavor. Shouldn’t they?” She looked at the dopplegangers who had brought them here in the first place.

Thollin snorted.
“We have the specifications for the beam that opened the wormhole and brought us here. It shouldn’t be too difficult to modify the Athena’s deflector to emit the same beam. The larger output of the Athena’s deflector should also make the opening wide enough for the ship.”

R’han looked about… “Are we going to do Universal Constant tracing to be sure we have the right people in here?” R’han questioned. It would be beyond difficult to figure out who was who in short order.

“Univsersal constant tracing?” Thollin frowned as he considered what kind of test would be required to identify a person’s universal origin. It wasn’t something he’d ever had to consider before, but he was certain he wouldn’t like it.

Koraia’s attention shifted to the Tellarite. “We can quickly scan a person for their quantum signature and comare it against our universe and see that it matches,” she explained. “Everyone boarding and returning from the away teams should get checked out anyway, but we’re heading back asap and won’t have time to wait. But we could potentially rig the internal sensors to do focused scans of the people aboard, yes?”

OOC We’ll just assume everyone has been briefed on what transpired to save time :-)

Stone harumphed, “Well I for one don’t want to stay in this crazy mixed up universe any longer than we have to. Things seem to find a way to unravel here rather quickly”.

His next comment was cut off by a rerouted communication from the Bridge, it was Commander Eddington asking for permission to come aboard.

“Tell Eddington he can come aboard and come see me, but that time is of the essence. No dawdling,” Koraia said with a tiny smirk. Everything was starting to seem slightly humorous.

“The greater the chaos the greater the opportunity for advancement.”

Karina glanced around the room. She was aware of the two who were here from the ‘other’ universe. But the idea that others were hiding amongst them made her skin prickle. She shivered and crossed her arms as if she was cold and settled back harder against the wall she was leaning on.

Luka was quiet as she glanced to Koraia. Certainly the captain had gone through some things down on the planet. “I will watch the bridge,” she decided, turning and leaving the Ready Room before the meeting started officially.

“Okay, let’s get these modifications done asap,” Koraia said gesturing to the new arrivals. “Give the bridge any information that is required. I want this done yesterday,” she said while she awaited Eddington’s arrival.
