Jessica glanced at his office and grinned. “Well, I suppose I should be glad you didn’t offer me the morgue or a biobed,” she commented with a laugh. “I’ll tell you what, we’ll trade off. I’ll get a 30 minute power nap and then you do the same.” The small blonde crossed her arms across her chest and arched one eyebrow up, daring the CMO to argue with her plan to ensure that they both got some very needed rest time.

Benjamin opened his mouth as if to protest but decided against it, smiled, and nodded “You’ve got a deal Doctor Lemann” He said simply.

Jessica’s face morphed into what could only be described as a self-satisfied smirk as she winked at him and headed to his office. Curling up in a ball on the sofa after instructing the computer to alert her in 30 minutes, she was out within seconds of resting her head down.

Ben shook his head in slight amusement, for a moment he just looked around his Sickbay. After he’d taken said moment he moved to a nearby replicator and made himself some tea, allowing himself a moment of relaxation before heading back into the fray.
Dr. Grey - CMO
Thirty minutes later, GM willing, a slightly perkier version of the blonde scampered out of Grey’s office, her own hot beverage cradled between her hands. “Your turn!” she chirped at the CMO and then took a long sip of what clearly smelled like coffee.

Everything was peaceful within the sickbay. The happy family were bonding under the bemused eye of a Vulcan who had amnesia but apart from that it was business as usual, or at least it would be provided no one coming up from the planet had any injuries to report.

Jessica sipped her coffee again and then stood in the middle of Sickbay, one hand on her hip and the other around the handle of her mug. She did a slow circle in place, visually checking to make sure that everything was how she had left it and that there had been no new developments during her rest.
Just then, Sickbay would get a notification that the crew from the surface was returning and there were some injuries that would need immediate attention.

Green eyes immediately went to the CMO and she shooed him toward his office. “I’ve got this, you should still rest,” she insisted with a bossy edge to her tone. She set her cup of coffee down on a nearby table and went to start preparing the biobeds for the new arrivals.

Moments later Stark was wheeled into sickbay protesting about not being allowed to walk there. He took one look at the happy family and shut right up. S’Raal’s beaming face looked over at him, “Welcome back, Great Uncle Stark”.
Stark’s eyes had misted briefly but he rallied at that comment and spat out, “I’ve always been Great you cheeky blighter”.

Benjamin smiled at his junior officers commanding tone and entered his office. He’d close his eyes for a few minutes, maybe have a little cry then get right back to it.
Dr. Grey - CMO
Jessica grinned at Grey’s back as he obeyed her instruction and then reached for a nearby medical tricorder. She hated to interrupt the interaction in front of her, but the wheelchair was a quite obvious indicator that some kind of interference was necessary. She quietly approached the group, flipping it open to begin a subtle scan of Nightstalker.
Dr. Lemann
His electrolytes were way past subnormal and he showed all the signs of someone on the extreme edges of collapse from exhaustion but not just at a body level, this went all the way to the cellular level, as if he’d been sucked dry of nearly all energy. His heart in particular was having trouble keeping up it’s normal rhythm.
