Kenny didn’t even have to glance at the map in order to make his way from the cargo bay to his new quarters, then on to sickbay. He and Allison always had technical minds, good at remembering things. He froze slightly at the thought of her. He’d thought it would be easier once he was away from the Nursery. Away from the halls and the trees where they’d so often played growing up. He shook his head and continued on. It would do him no good to dwell on the dead.

He stepped into Sickbay and looked around. Not much of a difference. As soon as someone stepped over to see him, he smiled slightly at them and spoke. “Lt. Fleet, here for my Medical. My records are on this PaDD,” he held it out for the Medical officer to take.

• Lt. Fleet, Helm

The tall redhead turned around and looked at Fleet, her crooked smile greeting the helmsman “Oh aye, Fleet innit?” She said as she grabbed the device, and examined it for a moment only to realize that she was holding it upside down, turning it around to examine it further “Have a seat” she threw a thumb back at one of the three examination beds.

Dr. Grey - CMO

“Thanks, Doc,” Fleet said with a small smile as he steped over and sat down. “You’ll see that I’m recovered from my injury. I’ve even got this neat scar,” he tapped on the side of his head. He’d be able to feel the slight bump where the scar was if he tried. His hair was a little bit missing there, but the length of it mostly covered the spot.

The file listed the usual details, updates to his medical profile and mentions of an extra test to ensure his sense of balance was in good order.

Rachel put the PaDD down, she’d add the files to their outdated later. Then she grabbed the nearby medical scanner and started a general scar “You know if you want, the next time we go earthside I could have that scar removed, It’s still not the best procedure to do on Starfleet Ships yet but it is relativtely easy.”

Dr. Grey - CMO

The scan revealed a mostly healthy individual, with nothing to worry about or pay attention to other than the notes already on his file. Steady heartbeat, good brain patterns, digestion, and such.

Kenneth lifted a hand to run it over his scar and gave Dr. Grey a small shrug. “I know, but to be honest I kinda like it? Like, it’s got history? It’s like this one I’ve got from when I tripped as a kid,” he pointed to his covered knee, where he knew there to be a scar. “It’s a record of my like in scars, I guess?”
