Baumann spoke up. “The new Intel facilities are almost complete and fully online. I anticipate full functionality within forty-eight hours, Mr. Bohannon and his team should be commended for their efforts, Captain. I am sure the working conditions were not ideal, but they finished ahead of schedule.”

Ari made a note. “I’m glad it all worked out. I was a bit concerned on the comms considering the original set up.” She wasn’t going to let it out of the bag that he had additional consoles. She glanced around the table. “Next?”

“Hello everyone. Captain, I have all the reports for the past week and the approved duty rosters for the next two weeks. We did have only one disciplinary situation which you’re aware of. I have nothing further to contribute except I agree with the Commander. Engineering and every department that I’ve inspected is top notch and doing well.”

Commander Jean-Francois Millet XO

Ari’s gaze leveled on Jean and her jaw clenched a moment. She had to take two deep breaths before looking back down at her console. “Thank you, Commander.” She took another breath before looking back at the others. “Next?”

“Well,” Alison said stepping forward. “We are fully restocked on supplies. And we are working on the calibration of the upgraded and repaired sensor arrays. We are currently on track to have them completed on schedule, prior to our scheduled launch. Otherwise the upgrades to the science labs is complete.”

Ltjg Barr - CSO

Ari nodded and smiled. “Thank you, Barr. Let me know about the sensor array. I want them tested before we go as well. Full work ups. I don’t want to get stuck out there and still running ‘tests’.” She laughed and looked to the remained Department Heads.

“That is the goal Captain.”

Melissa spoke up from her customary spot on the back wall of the conference room “The MACOs are upgraded and our supplies have been brought aboard.” She said “We did have a small issue with a couple of our new recruits, that has been sorted and they are on latrine duty for the next week.” She said looking at some notes on her pad “We’ll be doing some firing range training if anyoe wants to join us. It’s a bit different than the training that Star Fleet does. But anyone is welcome to join us.” She added.

MACO

Ari nodded. “Thank you for that. And I hope everyone puts out to their department about the weapons training. This last mission shows us that anyone can be a target. I’d like to see everyone requalified on the phaser if nothing else, within the next month. Departments will be allowed to shift their shifts around to accommodate this. Tafoya, you got the manpower to hold at least two classes a week? I think we can manage with that for now, to begin with.”

Melissa nodded “I have plenty of manpower.” She said “My 2nd Lt is a weapons instructor.” She said “As am I.” She added “Have each of the Department heads get with either myself or the Chief Armory Officer and well get everyone trained on both Star Fleet and MACO weapons.”

Alison blinked. Phaser requalification? She knew how to use a phaser, but it was not her first option when she had one.

Rachel perked up, she had yet to use a Weapon in the service although she was certified “I assume we’ll be training with the Standard Starfleet Phase Pistols rather than the MACO Phase-pulse pistol?” She asked already sure of the answer but excited the prospect nonetheless.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Isaac spoke up “I do like the maco rifle it is better then our Star fleet rifle I recommend every one to get checked on them during my time off I talk to one of the maco trainers he drilled me and I passed on the rifle use”

Lt. Isaac Black (AC)

Ari nodded. It was nice they weren’t balking at it. “I’d like everyone cleared for the phase pistol that’s standard issue. Any other weapon the MACO has at her disposal is open to quals as well. The more you know, the more you can handle in a crisis.” She smiled a bit. “But it’s not mandatory to know them all.”

Melissa looked at Lt Black and gave him a nod to indicate that she would be looking forward to working with him.

MACO

Ari glanced around the table. “All right, then that’s out of the way. Engineering, got anything for us this morning?” Soon as he made his report, they could wrap this up.

“Nothing too new Captain. I am still working on some issues from the last mission, but its nothing I can’t handle. I will also help our new arrival to get settled in know that I have the extra time. But the Engineering crew is working as hard as they can to keep the ship up to mission readiness” he answered.

Going over her list and making sure that was everyone, Ari nodded to them all. “All right, well that seems to be everything. Everyone remember to get your JOs to the onload party tomorrow morning.” She smiled knowing no one would consider it a true party. “And let’s make sure everyone who hasn’t gets their second 24 hours of leave before we get out of here. Orders could come any day now. Any questions? If not, you’re dismissed.” She glanced around to see if they would leave or have more questions for her.

Melissa nodded and turned and left the room. She headed back down to MACO country and went to her office to get ready for a meeting that she was waiting for.
