The message went out and was marked URGENT on everyone’s comms in the morning when they got up. From the linguist to all the JOs, the message rang across the ship like a silent alarm that blinked bright red when folks woke up.

“Good morning, crew.

As our refit finally starts to wind down and draw to a close, it’s that time again. All JOs are to report to Cargo Bay #3 at 1100 hours to help with replenishment. This is mandatory and all hands are required to attend. Shift Supervisors please bring duty rosters for head counts and distribution of personnel for this 15 hour revolution.

When Naomi saw that message and the format, her anxiety jumped to new heights. Then she spotted refit which made her relax. As her heart settled down, she moved toward the cargo bay. Her PADD in hand and using the map with the trick the CO taught her.

Calling all the JOs meant it was going to be crowded. She cringed at the thought as being in tight places never settled with her. It was a big negative to parties and crowded events.

I’m such a nerd. She mused at herself before she entered the room, being one of the first JOs inside.
