El didn’t like hospitals. It was mainly the smell of them. Antiseptic gone rancid. It didn’t seem to matter whether they were on a vessel or on Earth they were all the same. El crinkled her nose at the fainter but still noticeable smell there as she entered the cramped sickbay on the Bonnie. Given that she was used to the larger infirmaries at the Academies or the local hospitals this was .. squalid by comparison. But she was not here to be in the medical group but an engineer in the, albeit still cramped engineering, but nearer to her beloved engines. “Hello?” she called out. Sooner in. Sooner out.

“Hullo” A voice came from above, right above the entrance to the small sickbay a large woman for a lack of better words hanging on the ceiling, legs akimbo. Upon closer inspection, the Engineer could see that she was holding on to some sort of pull up lever and her legs were somehow managing to keep balance with little hold “Apologies” The redhead gave a strained smile, she quickly pulled her legs together and swung down, when her legs were adjacent with the floor she let go of the bar and dropped to the floor with little sound.

She took a few heavy breaths of air and studied the woman carefully “Doctor Rachel Grey” THe doctor put out a hand, her accent although Scottish was soft and clear “Welcome onboard” The Doctor was tall, very tall, unusually so, standing over a foot higher than the woman, herfit physique apparent even in her uniform.
