Max had his notes from Sickbay ready to go along with the doctor’s suggestion. Max buzzed for entry.

“Come.” came the voice behind the door and they slid open. Baumann looked up from his desk and said “Lieutenant.” in his typical greeting. It wasn’t unfriendly or curt, it was simply his acknowledgement that Woods had something for him. Baumann indicated a chair with a gesture and waited to see what Woods had to report.

“Thank you Sir.” Max sat down with a PaDD in hand and hands it to the Chief. “Doctor Grey found evidence of a second neural activity which lead her to believe that the mess crewman’s behavior came from a second brain. She suggested the bridge run internal scans on the entire ship to find the source if it was still onboard. Also the mess crewman uttered the words ask them about the combinations?” Max paused and awaited his Chief’s response.
