She was tired of rules, regulations and stern suggestions. The Watch Officer on the sho had warned her it was a bad idea, even the NE Lieutenant in security who saw her in the transporter room had sternly argued about safety regulations.

But she’d had enough. Only personal comms would reach her, and she was going to the surface alone for the next couple hours. Anyone who wanted to go against that order was welcome to protest as loud as they wanted… from the brig.

Ordering her transport to a secluded wood no one had explored yet, she’d taken her PaDD and communicator and disappeared in a storm of swirling lights and glaring eyes.
