The shuttle settled to the deck in landing bay and the hatch opened. The pilot stepped out and then waited as another person exited.

Well over six feet tall and with a musculature born of years of service, Commander Wulf Baumann was a striking figure. His size and build, coupled with his blonde hair and intense, bright blue eyes made him seem like a recruiting poster come to life… save for the fact that we wasn’t in uniform.

Baumann looked at the pilot and extended his hand. “Thank you, Sid. Safe travels back.” he said, his thick German accent lending a crispness to his diction. Sid nodded and went to arrange for transports back for the planet surface, and Baumann picked up his bags and walked towards the exit… nodding at some familiar faces as he went.

A security NE walked up and smiled. “Commander Baumann, welcome back. I’m Ensign Prescott. The Captain asked me to make sure you didn’t need anything. She said to let you know you are welcome to your old Quarters, if you wish. Or you are welcome to move to the VIP Quarters. And whichever you choose, we will send your personal crate to.” She was smart and professional, both in manner and dress. Brunette hair cut short but not in a bad way and a smile that was welcoming and not flirtatious. While Ari hadn’t come herself, she had wanted him to know she was aware of his presence, and of his rank and duties now.

Baumann held out his hand. “Ensign. Thank you and extend my appreciation to the Captain. The VIP quarters will suffice perfectly, I think. And do you know if the new XO has arrived yet?”
