The claustrophobic scientist CO would note that there was a great deal of room inside even with the black hole. However, it was one which was gradually tearing at the structure of the dyson sphere and would eventually collapse it and draw it in. However that was a long time away. The course was easily prepared though would take the Bonnie in likely much farther than Ari was comfortable with.

Ari shook her head. She knew this was important. She couldn’t sit back and let an entire race die because she was nervous…

Her voice cracked, but she recovered swiftly. [O] Tafoya… Get them in groups and set up for transport. We’re doing this NOW [O] She then ordered the helm to start their entry into the sphere. “We’re getting these folks out.”

She then tapped the comm once more and broadcast to all the away teams. [O]This is the Captain… shove who you can in transports and get them out. Everyone else get into groups and prepare for transport. The Bonnie is coming in.[O] She didn’t like the feeling of her skin trying to crawl off her back, but there was nothing to be done. White knuckled, she sat in her chair and watched as they began gliding towards the open maw of the sphere. “Set all transporters rooms to maximum. We will rotate the pick ups between them to give the pads time to clear out and keep the drain on the ship to a minimum.”

The time for dilly dallying was over. This was going to end one way or another in the next hour or so. She just hoped she was making the right choice.

As the Bonnie moved into position, Ari awaited word from the away teams that they were ready to begin.

Sensors would pick up from a distance a scattering of ships approaching from deeper within the Sphere. They were in groups of one or two with distance between them (ironic lol) as though coming from different origins. Scans would show they were as ramshackle as any they had seen to date. Scans would detect 31 such vessels approaching.

Melissa sighed [0] Captain, we’re all gathered, we don’t have enough room for everyone though. And the ships that they have are full.[0] Melissa said away from the others as much as she could. She kept as close to Smele as possible, she didn’t need him panicking and causing more problems with the people gathered.

MACO

[O] Shuttlepod to Bonaventure. This is Lt Barr, we are on our way back. Are we clear to dock? [O]

Ari smiled but it was short lived. How many would they be able to save? She didn’t want to hear numbers… it wouldn’t be ‘everyone’.

[O]Barr.. make it quick, and tell them they are unloading and heading back for more. We need as many runs as possible. Clear in docking bay one. Unload and get everyone to you bring in to the mess hall. We’re gonna be crowded quickly. Minimal rations when they get hungry but let’s hold out as long as we can on water and juice and tea till we see how bad this is gonna be.[O]

She didn’t want to put everyone on the comms, but now wasn’t the time to tip toe around the obvious.

When the MACO popped up, she nodded once more and responded in a similar fashion. Ari’s voice was clear and concise but was also edged with worry. [O] Tafoya.. we are almost in beaming range. You guys are first. Make sure we have coordinates and number. Start stacking folks in groups for beaming. We will alternate between port pads. With this many at this range, I don’t want to risk two at a time, so we will do them one, then the other… and back and forth. Will take longer, but I want to save more, not rush and lose too many. [O] She left it to the MACO to decide who was coming first and to get them organized. She informed transporter room to send folks to Bay 1 once they arrived.

She inhaled deeply and sighed. “This isn’t going to work…” she murmured to herself. How do you evacuate a planet, inside out as it was, one person at a time? The losses were already stacking up in her head and it was killing her… physically and mentally....she rubbed her temples and wondered what they would do once everyone was on board.

Sensors would show that the gravitic repulsors that were present were strained from the recent failure of the two. There was indication of imminent failure of more - imminent in this case within the hour.

The other ships slowly made their way closer to First City.

Time seemed to slow down. Despite the bustle, people weren’t coming to the Bonnie quick enough.

Shuttles from the cities and from the star ship worked quick and sure. And the transporters were popping folks aboard one by one. Ari watched the stats and listened to the comms as she also watched the structural integrity readings… she wasn’t sure they’d make it.

Suddenly she had an idea… standing up, Ari looked at the view screen, fixed his last imagine in her mind and called his name… “Bane…”

She doubted he’d hear, and she couldn’t help by smile a few folks on the bridge snickered at get calling out to someone not even on the ship.

OCC: Um did my post get over looked I gave you a really good reason why the transporters should not be used.The black hole they have For power is having a bad day and I such a black hole in that state is throwing a gravitational waves in other distortions. I highly advised not to use the transporters for this reason.

((I think it did… but GM will have to decide how bad it gets, if it does. But that’s why Ari is doing it shorter range and only one at a time. Otherwise she’d be using both pads and staying just inside the sphere to maintain distance… so guess we see if the GM decides to mangle everyone of just shackle us to one at a time, with few seconds in between to be sure buffers are ready once more… but thanks for reminder…))

OCC: I can always volunteer to Beam down to the plant really fast with some pattern enhancers to ensure a Safer and more stable lock for the transporters. It would make my character feel a whole lot better.

Isaac looked over his readings “ Sir if we are going to beam them out off the Sphere I will volunteer to go down to the planet with some pattern enhancers this will increase stable locks and make it a little bit safer for the residents that were bringing onboard” he said getting ready to move if the captain said go.
