Melissa brought her shuttle toward the sphere and docked =^=Barber-Tafoya to Bonnie. I am going to explore the sphere and the city within it. I will contact you shortly with what I find out.”=^= She said as she secured the shuttle and stepped into the sphere.

The sphere was not just ‘one’ that made up the city but a whole collection of them. They ranged from large to small, made of the same milky translucent material that Dal’s home sphere was made to a mix of that and metal or other items cobbled together, to metallic. Many were grouped and connected by way of tubes though some were independent. The shapes were generally spherical, though some were of various other shapes. Outside of the general range of the collection of spheres were a veritable battery of anti-grave repulsers. While many were active, still others were not.

There were few space vehicles about though some were docked to the largest of the spheres. Most looked as cobbled together as any Melissa had seen. She passed from the pod to a staging area that formed the shell of the sphere. The inside reminded her of the inside of a wasp nest where the decks were in the central core and visible to the eye (as in no shell around them). They were connected by long rope bridges. Melissa could pick out commercial and residential areas though manufacturing or other might e elsewhere.

NE Blackwell followed the MACO team rather nervously, this was her first mission with an armed escort and the first time since joining the Bonnie she’d left the ship “Where do we go Ma’am” The doctor said in her Bristol accent.

There were no less than four different ‘race’ types that they could see at that time. The thin, slight race like Dal, and the more bulky reptilian race like the ‘mayor’s’ bodyguard. But there were two others that they could see in the distance - one a shorter, squatter being looking like a cross between a dwarf and a frog. The fourth were taller and sleek with three legs but cowled in a monk-like habit. Heads turned, though didn’t pay a great deal of attention to them - yet.

Blackwell looked around the room with great interest. She had rarely seen aliens beyond the odd Vulcan or other similar species with relations with Earth. This was like one of those outposts she’d read about in Medical school. Luckily she was there to aid the MACO team and not attempt to service these strangers, that was beter left to people who actually specialize in that.

Melissa watched Blackwell “Just keep a low profile, we just want to get a feel for what is going on. Don’t over react, just keep cool.” She said knowing that this was Blackwell’s first mission as an armed escort. “What are the rules for first contact?” Melissa asked the younger MACO.
