Alison kept looking at the scans and couldn’t make heads or tails of what she was seeing. Based upon what she knew, the sphere was way over kill. The hull was thicker then it needed to be. Not to mention that there was a lot more forces then was needed to counteract the singularity. Throw in the watchers and the editor, it just added more questions. Why did they need so many different regions, it was almost as if this was a neutral territory after a big war.

Ari smiled and nodded. “Thank you. We will do the best we can not to harm anyone. And we will try to fix things so you can once more be in touch with those inside. If someone dies while we are trying to fix things or make peace, will you forgive us or will their be a punishment? I cannot guarantee someone will not die. I can only promise we will do our best not to kill anyone.” She had been about to tell Bauman and T’Leia to do whatever was necessary, but the last thing she wanted was their ship and personnel condemned or destroyed because they didn’t know ‘all’ the rules.

There are those who would take advantage of the Gates within.” His answer was not precisely an answer, though it carried with it all they needed. Answers lay within.

Baumann’s voice came through again. [O] Shuttle to Bonaventure. Commander T’Leia has ordered us to intercept the raiders. We are requesting MACO support for potential armed conflict. Please confirm, Bonaventure. [O]

“Gates, what sort of gates?” Alison said. She had meant to say it internally, but from the looks of everyone, she realized that she had said it out loud. She was just going to look through the sensor data, but maybe the entity would provide them some answers.

[O] They are coming, Baumann. Orders are to protect but not kill if it can be avoided. We have… permission… as it were, to assist those being attacked. But stun rather than kill where possible. And I want to see if we can get both sides to a discussion table. [O] Ari’s voice came over the comm. Her voice was struggling to remain calm, but he would recognize the worry in its lilt.

She then tapped the toggle for the shuttle bay. The comms crackled a moment then Ari’s voice came thru loud and clear. [O] Jharaas, permission to depart. We have permission to assist those being attacked. Stun when possible and kill ONLY when necessary. Let’s see if we can’t manage to get some order and perhaps a sit down with both sides. [O]
