Melissa strode into the shuttle bay a side arm attached to her hip and a set look on her face “Everyone make sure that you’re ready to go at a moment’s notice.” She said as she checked over the gear she had brought with her. She didn’t know what they were going to face if anything but she wanted to be prepared for as much as she could.

Barber-Tafoya (MACO)

Ari’s voice came over the comm, [O] Barber… want you all on standby… that ship is stepping up the pace like it wants a kiss… I want you ready at my command to handle whatever they throw at us. I’ve warned the away team as well. [O]. Her voice was calm, but there was still an undertone of pressure that would let the MACO know there was certainly something afoot… and the science mind of their CO was no longer amused.

With the opposing team behind her, Jharaas stepped into the shuttlebay, only a few minutes behind Tafoya, but with the same ideals in mind. “We don’t have a time schedule out here, so you better be prepared to move at any second.” She spoke to the team, glancing over at Barber. “Are your people prepped, Colonel?” She inquired, running over supplies and gear while she waited for an answer.

Melissa nodded as she resecured her side arm “They are ma’am.” She said barely glancing up at her team as they all nodded affirmatively =^=Captain, we are ready to go on your command.=^= She said as she moved over to one of the shuttles and began preparing it for departure. She looked at Jharaas “Ma’am, shuttle two will be ready for departure in three minutes.”

“Understood.” Jharaas nodded. “If the Captain ordered deployment, you and your team will go to assist. Meanwhile, mine will stay back and secure the area for the incoming wounded and whatever might come along with them. Be sure to keep in contact, I don’t care if that means a constant open link or an update on whatever’s going on, but I want to know your status- especially in the case of trouble.”

“Bremington, Greybill– take the rest of the team and begin securing the area. We need this shuttlebay prepped for incoming wounded.” Jharaas ordered to two nearby MACOs. Once they left to assemble the others, Jharaas moved to comm the Sickbay. =^=MACO to Sickbay, we’re prepping for incoming wounded in the Shuttlebay, a doctor on standby down here would be nice.=^=

Melissa nodded as she stepped onto the shuttle pod and began preparing the shuttle before departure and began warming up the engines and waited for the word to go “Lt. We’re ready to go on the Captain’s order.” She said spinning around in the pilot’s seat.

Melissa awaited orders on whether they were supposed to go or not. Melissa leaned back in her chair and waited for orders.
