Hello all,

I’m finally returning after my two-month disappearance. I apologise to you all, especially the Ship Captains I did not inform, like has happened before I did not announce an LOA despite knowing I’d be away, although I thought I’d only be gone a week or two.

I was ill and preparing to return in late February but with the new year and work I didn’t see a chance to return so I’d planned on going LOA, during that hectic time it appears I never clicked the thing and of course, forgot to inform anyone.

Then I was ill again in March immediately followed by a family illness followed by the week of my birthday. Then March was over and there was a death in the family. It was not the most terrible loss, not to sound callous, but it was enough that I needed to be involved in the funeral planning and execution.

These major events combined with smaller events that real life often throws at us combined to give me the longest time I’ve been away since my year long hiatus a few years back.

I sincerely apologise and do hope I can return to any positions on any ships still available.

Regarding how to reach me, I removed Discord from my phone some time ago due to personal reasons but I have reinstalled it. It also appears that my email decided yet again that Star-Fleet was spam, It should be fixed and I’ve replied to those emails I saw but if I have not reached out please let me know.

I look forward to returning where I can and please let me know if there are any specific posts I should pay attention to.

I’m sorry to hear that Hjortur! I for one am glad to see you back in a place where you’re returning! Things are starting to pick up now and I suspect we’ll need our CMO fairly soon! Plus I need to do a boarding physical so I’ll tag you in that shortly!
