Heather grumbled as she made her way back to the bridge. She had just been about to head down to Earth when the message came through from command, all crew leaves were cancelled and crew were to return to the ship immediately.

Stepping off the lift she forced her face to a neutral state, which was good as she caught a couple of young officers also grumbling about the cancelled leave.

“Alright people, looks like Starfleet has a hot one for us. Where are we at in getting all of the crew recalled? What is the status of the ship? And has anyone talked to the Captain yet?”

OOC: So I am a bit confused and have gotten lost…are we starting an entirely new sim? So that one where we were investigating the murders is no longer running?

OOC: We never had any murders (unless I really missed something. Which is totally possible.). We had found an old NASA craft way out nowhere. But yeah that ended, and Matt is starting a new sim.

OOC: With Matt stepping in to replace Rob, we decided to start a new sim. So hurry up and get back to the ship!

Aiden had barely even left his station when the notice went out, and so he was already on the bridge, taking messages and watching everyone filter in. He was in shockingly good spirits for having had leave cancelled, and bounced to his feet at Commander Grace’s arrival. “Good morning, ma’am!” He looked back down to his console, then continued. “Fifty-three percent of the crew has acknowledged the notice, and Petty Officer Walters from engineering has notified us that he’s coming, but will be late due to shuttle mechanical issues. No word from the Captain as of yet.”

Chief Petty Officer Fiona Cleary, the engineering staff currently on the bridge at least until its departure, her ginger hair surrounding a round freckly face shook her head. “Imagine that, our top shuttle mechanic engineer, having mechanical issues. The irony. He’ll be wearin that in the mess later.” Her Irish lilt was strong. The last time he’d come up sporting a black eye from scrapping with his elder brother. Was this another such delay? “I have two shuttles queued up to dock and disembark. Bay 1 is departing now. Shuttle Sparrowhawk can be cleared to dock in two minutes.”
