As the shuttle came to rest and he and the team disembarked onto the Sojourner once the formality of requesting permission to come aboard had been dealt with. The team then lined up, “I’ll check in with our new CO later today. For now, ” he said looking around at what they had to deal with.

“Thompson, Collins take the crate to our quarters on D deck, should be just past the armory. In fact Stop at the armory and inform them of the gear we are bringing on board.” he turned his attention “Hayes, you head to the bunks as well get squared a way and inventory your medical supplies ” he turned to look at the deck. “Well this is home for the next tour so get to know every inch of her.” he paused “Training at 16:00 lets get it done” he finished.

“Aye, Aye Staff Sergeant” they responded then went to work.

Travis made his way through the decks of the ship admiring the ship, It’s amazing how far his people had come in such a short time. The ship was well built and would serve as a good home. Certainly was better than the Jungle he and the team had been in the past year.

Finding his way to B deck he entered sick bay and looked around for someone to help him with his physical. He really wished he had found the time to shave before he had come on board.
